I coined the acronym NBUS in 2013 and ran several challenges until 2017. The term caught on and in 2020, it is still being used in Blogland, so I thought this would be a good time to challenge you to use your NBUS to stay creative through Covid and beyond. This dedicated NBUS website is for crafty artists to share their works of art containing any brand-new virginal Never-Before-Used-Schtuff! We bought it ~ now let's use it to share and inspire others!

and actually using them are two separate hobbies." (Unk)

NBUS Challenge #84

Welcome!!
This is a wonderful place to find design ideas
as we challenge each other
to use our Never-Before-Used-Schtuff
and
then share our creations to inspire others!
[And as Bunny says: to enable each other to buy more NBUS!]

It's great to see you and I hope you're doing well and staying warm, or cool, as the case may be! Thank you for playing in last month's NBUS Challenge with all your beautiful new goodies! I really appreciate your enthusiasm and how you support and encourage each other ~ and me!

From all the incredible entries last month, I am showcasing #61 Loll:
This peony looks alive and is a much needed bright spot in places where gray skies and harsh winter remains. Thank you so much, Loll, for sharing this beautiful card and your many other wonderful creations using NBUS!

The basic idea of this challenge is evident in the name. Whether it's something you have just purchased or something unused that is collecting dust in the back of a drawer, you are proud when you use never-before-used schtuff (NBUS) in your creation! This is the place for you to share those NBUS works of art!

There are no limitations on what you can create, but there are a few RULES, such as what is the maximum number of other challenges allowed. Please take a minute to click on the above link.

You may use this badge for your blog post if you like, but it is not mandatory.
I can't wait to see what you share with us!

The challenge closes March 31, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. PST.

Thank you!
